Light (DPL) Laser
Dynamic Pulsed Light Laser (DPL) is a non-ablative and non-invasive treatment that incorporates both Laser and Advance Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to treat various skin conditions such as melasma, acne and dull skin. It promotes cell renewal and boosts collagen and elastin production to improve the appearance of the skin.
How long does each session take?
The length of each session depends largely on the type and area of treatment. It usually takes around 45 minutes to an hour per session.
Is there any downtime?
You will feel a warm mild prickling sensation during the treatment and slight redness that should subside in a few hours.
Am I suitable for DPL Treatment?
DPL treatment is suitable for most skin including those with dark skin. We would still suggest that you consult with our doctors to discuss your concerns and receive recommendations on the most suitable treatment options.

How does it work?
DPL treatment utilises the Dynamic Toning Technology or D-Light which is a new shape of light pulses that are created from a powerful combination of IPL and Laser power sources. It has the ability to target the lower layers of skin (dermis) without affecting the top layers of skin (epidermis). As such, there is little to no downtime due to its low-fluence and high-density energy and speed.
DPL is also widely used for body and facial hair removal as it is able to target the hair follicles in a controlled intensity over the root of the hair. The light energy is then absorbed by the hair root, which is then converted into heat energy and used to destroy the dark pigments in the hair follicles to prevent new hair follicles from growing.
