What is the Micro Laser Resurfacing?
Micro laser resurfacing is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses laser energy to improve skin texture and tone, reduce signs of aging, and treat specific skin concerns like acne scars and wrinkles. It uses two complementary wavelengths:
- Nd: YAG — deeper, non-ablative heating to stimulate collagen, reduce inflammation, and prep the skin surface for the resurfacing procedure.
- Er: YAG (erbium) — precise, shallow ablation to rid dead skin cells. As the skin underneath the dead skin cells reveals itself, your skin will experience a skin rejuvenation process with new, tighter, and healthier tissue.
By combining these wavelengths in a treatment sequence, this procedure can resurface the epidermis and remodel the dermis in one session or in staged sessions, treating both the visible surface and the structural causes beneath.

Light resurfacing may cause 1–3 days of mild redness, while deeper ablative sessions may require a longer healing period, around 1 week, as you may experience redness, temporary swelling, and crusting of the skin post treatment, all of which can be mitigated with proper post treatment care.
Is the treatment painful?
Most patients tolerate the procedure with topical anaesthetic. Sensations range from mild warmth to brief stinging, depending on the protocol.
How many sessions will I need?
