Pre-Departure Covid-19 PCR or Serology Swab Test for Air Travel
Fusion Medical now offers pre-departure COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and/or swab test for individuals before they travel. The pre-departure PCR test is a self-paid test at S$117.7 (walk in), S$299.6 (express), while the serology and PCR package is at S$160.5 (all prices after GST).
Book An Appointment
An appointment is required before making any trip to the clinic. You should schedule your swab test at least 48 hours to 72 hours prior to your flight departure, depending on requirements set out by your destination country. Please be reminded that you are responsible to ensure that your testing window is in line with your destination country’s requirement.
As the test results are unlikely to be returned in time if you are departing within 48 hours, Fusion Medical would not accept appointments that are less than 48 hours before your flight departure.
The results will be returned to you via your registered email address, usually within 24 hours of the test and at least 3 hours before your flight time.
Arrive for your appointment
To minimise waiting time, we would urge you to complete the online registration form prior to arrival at the clinic. Please arrive punctually for your swab test, which will take approximately 15 minutes. You will be ushered to a private room for the swab test. Rest assured that the room is sanitised thoroughly after each patient’s use.
Documents to bring:
- Identity Card or Passport
- A soft copy of the booking reference indicating the date and time of your departure flight
If you happen to be unwell on the day of the test, Fusion Medical will proceed to conduct swab tests mandated for patients with symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 infection under the Public Health Preparedness Scheme (PHPC). There is a possibility that your flight may need to be postponed.
Collection of Test Results
Test results and memo will be emailed to you with hard copies printed for your collection unless you indicate that hard copies of the results are not required. However, do note that you are required to bring the travel memo when you travel overseas.
