It is a 3 Dimensional Mammography. It is an FDA approved, low-dose examination of the breasts to screen for breast abnormalities.

What is 3D Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT)?
DBT acquires multiple projection images that are used to reconstruct a 3D volume of the breast. The volume can be scrolled through slice by slice eliminating the effect of superimposed tissue. Studies show that DBT reduces up to 15% of recalls* for women and increases up to 29%* in the detection of all breast cancers.

Who should do mammogram?
For healthy women
- Women above 50 years old – screening every 2 years
- Women between 40 – 49 years old – screening every year
- If you have a family history of Breast Cancer
