Fotona4D
Fotona4D® is a non-invasive facelift treatment that uses a combination of 2 complementary laser wavelengths — Nd:YAG and Er:YAG to treat 4 distinct dimensions of the skin to rejuvenate and tighten from inside out. Its non-ablative function distributes controlled, long pulse durations of laser energy to the skin to induce deep bulk heating of the dermis, thereby gradually raising temperature in the skin to stimulate collagen production for skin lifting. Its ablative Erbium laser gently exfoliates the upper most layer of skin. Done at higher intensity, this also helps to improve the appearance of scars.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The four "dimensions" of Fotona4D® refer to four distinct lasers (SMOOTH®, FRAC3®, PIANO® and SupErficial™)
to produce effective results from both inside and outside.
1D Step 1: SmoothLiftin™
Fotona4D® starts inside the mouth, where laser energy is used to kick start the tightening process around the jawline and perioral region. This step will also reduce expression lines like the nasolabial folds and wrinkles.
2D Step 2: FRAC3®
Next, to complement the intraoral treatment, deeper imperfections (like deep lines) and pigments are targeted to restore a youthful texture and more uniform overall complexion.
3D Step 3: PIANO®
In step three, a brushing technique is used to safely and rapidly apply heating to create an overall tightening effect, resulting in firmer and lifted skin.
4D Step 4: SupErficial™
Lastly, a light laser peel is done to improve the appearance of the skin and address surface-level imperfections. The skin will look refreshed and tightened.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED?
Our doctor will usually recommend a minimum of 2 sessions, 1 month apart, for optimal outcomes. Thereafter, maintenance sessions may only be required once a year. Do discuss with our doctor to see if this treatment is appropriate for you.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
The effect will gradually unfold over a period of 2-3 months, with continuous improvement for up to 6 months after treatment.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
You will feel a warm mild prickling sensation during the treatment and slight redness that should subside in a few hours.
