HydraFacial · Singapore

HydraFacial in Singapore: a 30-minute hydrating facial.

A multi-step facial that uses patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse, gently exfoliate and infuse hydrating serums, with no downtime afterwards.

What is a HydraFacial?

Cleanse, extract and hydrate, in about 30 minutes.

A HydraFacial is a multi-step procedure that uses a patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse the skin and remove debris that can clog the pores, then deliver a nutrient-rich solution that hydrates and strengthens the skin. It takes about 30 minutes and has no downtime.

The solution is rich in botanical vitamins and peptides that infuse into the skin, and antioxidants are delivered to help counteract free radical damage from pollution, sun and stress.

At our doctor-led clinic at Wheelock Place, a HydraFacial can be a regular maintenance treatment to keep skin clean and glowing, or part of a wider plan for acne-prone, dull or uneven skin.

  • About 30 minutes — cleanse, peel and hydrate in one visit
  • No downtime — make-up can go back on straight after
  • Customisable — targeted serums for your skin concerns
  • Every 2–3 weeks — can be repeated as often as that

How it works

How does a HydraFacial work?

The HydraFacial uses a non-invasive device with a three-part regime: it cleanses, exfoliates and nourishes. Patented spiral treatment tips use vortex technology to suction, moisturise, brighten and protect, clearing your pores and hydrating your skin. Targeted serums can be added for specific skin concerns.

What it can help with

What skin concerns can a HydraFacial help with?

A HydraFacial can improve a range of common skin concerns and suits most ages and skin types as a maintenance treatment, including acne-prone skin with frequent breakouts. If a concern needs more than a facial, our doctors can suggest other treatments.

Your treatment journey

Cleanse. Peel. Hydrate. Back to your day.

  1. Prepare

Your make-up is removed and your skin cleansed thoroughly. Let us know about any skin sensitivities, recent treatments or medicines first.

  2. Cleanse & extract

The device gently exfoliates dead skin cells, then spiral vortex suction clears out loose comedones.

  3. Peel & hydrate

A gentle peel solution deepens the exfoliation, then customised serums such as hyaluronic acid are delivered into the skin.

  4. Resume

The facial takes about 30 minutes. There is no downtime, make-up can go back on straight away, and HydraFacial treatments can be repeated as often as every 2–3 weeks.

Safety & expectations

Gentle enough for regular maintenance, with no downtime afterwards.

A HydraFacial is gentle and has no downtime, though skin can look a little pink for a short while after any facial. Tell us beforehand if you have active cold sores, a rash, sunburn or broken skin, have had a recent peel or laser, use isotretinoin or retinoids, are pregnant or have skin allergies.

HydraFacial: frequently asked questions

What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is a multi-step facial that uses a patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse the skin, remove debris that clogs the pores and deliver a nutrient-rich solution of botanical vitamins, peptides and antioxidants that hydrates and strengthens the skin. It combines cleansing, exfoliation and extraction, a gentle peel and hydration in about 30 minutes.

How is a HydraFacial different from a regular facial?

A HydraFacial combines several facial steps in one device: its patented spiral vortex tips cleanse and exfoliate, extract loose comedones with gentle suction, deliver a gentle peel solution and infuse serums such as hyaluronic acid, in about 30 minutes. Targeted serums can be added for specific concerns, and in our medical clinic, our doctors can suggest other treatments if your skin needs more than a facial.

How long does a HydraFacial take?

A HydraFacial takes about 30 minutes. Your make-up is removed and your skin is cleansed first, then the device works through exfoliation and extraction, a gentle peel and hydrating serums. There is no downtime, so you can reapply make-up and return to your day straight after.

Is a HydraFacial painful, and is there any downtime?

A HydraFacial is very gentle and is often described as feeling like a cool, gentle suction brush. There is no downtime: make-up can be reapplied immediately after the treatment and you can resume your normal daily activities. Tell us if any area feels sensitive during the treatment.

How often can I have a HydraFacial?

HydraFacial treatments can be done as often as every 2–3 weeks. Many people use them as a regular maintenance treatment to keep skin clean and glowing by exfoliating dead skin cells and keeping clogged pores at bay. Our doctors can suggest a schedule that suits your skin and any other treatments you are having.

Can a HydraFacial help acne-prone skin?

HydraFacial treatments can be offered to people with oily, acne-prone skin and frequent breakouts, as deep cleansing and gentle vortex extraction clear loose comedones and debris from the pores. Active or more severe acne may also need medical acne treatment, so our doctors can assess your skin and suggest a combined plan.

What results can I expect from a HydraFacial?

After a HydraFacial you may notice more hydrated skin, refined skin texture and a smoother skin tone. With regular treatments it can also help reduce pigmentation and fine lines and improve acne-prone skin. Results vary with your skin and how often you have the facial, so our doctors can advise on a routine.

Is a HydraFacial suitable for my skin type?

A HydraFacial suits most ages and skin types, as a maintenance treatment or for acne-prone skin. Tell us first if you have active cold sores, a rash, sunburn or broken skin, have had a recent peel or laser, take isotretinoin or use retinoids, are pregnant or have skin allergies, as the facial may need to wait or be adjusted.
