Generating heat in the skin
Radiofrequency generates heat in the deep layers of the skin to promote the production of collagen and elastin, thereby reshaping and tightening the skin.
Needle-free face toning · Singapore
A needleless, non-invasive treatment that combines radiofrequency heat with neuromuscular stimulation — strengthening and toning facial muscles to rejuvenate skin from within.
Toning the facial muscles and warming the skin, with no needles.
EMS & RF face treatment, sometimes called an RF facial, is a needleless, non-invasive treatment that combines radiofrequency (RF) and neuromuscular emissions. The neuromuscular stimulation works directly on the facial muscles to tone and firm them, while RF heat works on the skin, targeting the cheeks, forehead and under the chin to improve texture and rejuvenate your face.
The process of ageing and repeated facial expressions can cause the facial muscles to weaken over time. Strengthening and toning these muscles can help to lift your face for a more youthful look.
Treatment targets the skin and the underlying muscle structure at the zygomatic area (nasolabial folds), the frontal area (forehead) and the submaxillary area (double chin), improving skin texture and rejuvenating the face.
How it works
EMS & RF face treatment combines two energies. Radiofrequency generates heat in the deep layers of the skin to promote collagen and elastin, reshaping and tightening it. Neuromuscular stimulation works the facial muscles to improve tone and contour. Together they also improve circulation for healthier-looking skin.

Stimulating facial muscles
Neuromuscular emissions stimulate the facial muscles to help tone and improve the facial contour, reducing facial sagging and increasing skin firmness.

Improving circulation
Treatment improves blood circulation and oxygen flow in the treated area, for radiant, healthier-looking skin.

Personalised assessment
Our doctor will assess whether EMS & RF Treatment, or a combination of treatments, can better address your concerns.
Pregnant, or have a pacemaker or metal implant? Tell your doctor first.
Loose, less firm skin on the face, and loose skin on the neck.
Deep nasolabial folds, where the laugh lines are.
A droopy forehead and wrinkles on the forehead.
A saggy jawline and the appearance of a double chin.

Your treatment journey
Our doctor reviews your concerns and medical history, including any implants, to decide whether EMS & RF Treatment suits you or a combination would work better.
The needle-free treatment combines RF heat with muscle stimulation. You will usually feel warmth and the facial muscles contracting.
Sessions are usually 1–2 times a week for about 4–6 weeks; at least 5 sessions are recommended for optimal outcomes.
Soreness, if any, should settle within a few hours. After the initial course, sessions move to once a month for maintenance.

Safety & expectations
Suitability comes first — your doctor checks your history before planning a course.
Your face may feel a little sore for a few hours after treatment. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker, metal implant or other implanted device.
EMS & RF face treatment is needle-free and works on two levels at once. Radiofrequency heats the deeper layers of the skin to promote collagen and elastin, while neuromuscular stimulation exercises the facial muscles underneath. At Fusion Medical it is used for the nasolabial folds, the forehead and the double chin area.
During EMS & RF face treatment you will usually feel warmth from the radiofrequency, along with your facial muscles contracting as they are stimulated. The sensation varies between people and areas. Tell your doctor if anything feels uncomfortable during the session, so the settings can be adjusted.
At the initial stage, EMS & RF face treatment is done 1 to 2 times per week for about 4–6 weeks. Subsequently, sessions are once a month for maintenance. Your doctor will plan the course with you based on your concerns.
While some people notice results after the first EMS & RF session, we generally recommend at least 5 sessions for optimal treatment outcomes. Results build over the course and vary from person to person.
There is minimal downtime and very little aftercare after EMS & RF face treatment. Your face may feel a little sore after treatment, just like after an intensive workout, and this should resolve within a few hours.
In general, yes. EMS & RF face treatment is a versatile treatment that can be combined with others such as RF Treatment, dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, Ultherapy PRIME and other skin-tightening treatments to better achieve your skin goals. Please consult our doctor about your desired outcome.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, have metal implants in or near the treatment area, or have an active skin condition, as these may make EMS & RF face treatment unsuitable. Your doctor reviews your medical history before recommending treatment.
