Polynucleotide skin booster · Singapore
PN (polynucleotide) is an injectable skin booster made from DNA molecules extracted from Italian trout with patented Highly Purified Technology (HPT), to revitalise and repair damaged skin.
Polynucleotides, the building blocks for skin repair.
A PN injection delivers polynucleotides from Italian trout DNA, purified with patented Highly Purified Technology (HPT), into the skin. The polynucleotides act as building blocks that encourage skin cells to produce more collagen and elastin, helping to repair damaged skin and improve firmness, elasticity and hydration.
PN encourages bio-revitalisation to reverse the signs of ageing, and regenerates fibroblasts and collagen to repair damaged skin. It is clinically proven to improve overall skin health from deep within the dermal layer, where collagen and elastin keep skin firm, elastic and youthful-looking.
Together, the polynucleotides and hyaluronic acid help improve overall hydration and skin elasticity and boost skin rejuvenation, for smooth, radiant skin.
PN and our PDRN injectable (salmon DNA fragments) are related but not interchangeable; your doctor will explain which suits your skin.
How it works
PN polynucleotides act as building blocks in the dermis, encouraging your skin cells to produce more collagen and elastin, the proteins behind firmness and elasticity. With hyaluronic acid, they also help improve hydration, while regenerating fibroblasts and collagen to help repair damaged skin.

Building blocks for firmer skin
Polynucleotides encourage your skin cells to produce more collagen and elastin, regenerating fibroblasts and collagen to repair damaged skin.

Hydration and skin barrier
With hyaluronic acid, PN helps boost hydration and elasticity and restore the skin barrier naturally.

Tired eyes and dark circles
PN is also used around the eyes to revive tired eyes and reduce dark eye circles. Dark circles can have several causes, so your doctor first assesses what is behind yours.
Personalised assessment
PN is used for skin firmness, hydration and texture, acne scars and the delicate eye area. It is suitable for all skin types, but your doctor will discuss your concerns first so that the appropriate combination of treatments is chosen.

Your treatment journey
Each patient is unique, so a consultation with one of our doctors comes before treatment, to agree the areas and any combination treatments.
Topical anaesthesia is applied to minimise any discomfort.
The PN injectable is administered into your skin. The whole treatment takes around 45 minutes, including numbing.
Mild swelling or redness over the injection sites is temporary, and you can return to daily activities. Sessions are usually 3–4 weeks apart.
From our clinic
Dark circles and under-eye bags rarely have one cause: pigmentation, thin skin, volume loss and tear troughs each need a different approach. In this reel, our team explains why we assess the cause first. PN is one of the options used for tired eyes and dark circles.
Safety & expectations
Every patient is unique: a doctor’s consultation comes before any PN injection.
There may be mild, temporary swelling or redness at the injection sites. Tell your doctor about any fish allergy, medicines, skin conditions or recent treatments, especially before treatment around the eyes.
Polynucleotides (PN) are chains of nucleotides, the units that make up DNA. In our PN injectable they come from DNA molecules extracted from Italian trout using patented Highly Purified Technology (HPT). Injected into the skin, they act as building blocks, encouraging skin cells to produce more collagen and elastin.
PN injections are used to revive tired eyes and reduce dark eye circles, and the eyes are one of the treatment areas. Dark circles can come from pigmentation, thin skin, volume loss or tear troughs, so your doctor first assesses the cause and may combine PN with other treatments.
PN is used to improve acne scars. By regenerating fibroblasts and collagen, it helps repair damaged skin and improve texture, and it can also treat enlarged pores. Your doctor will assess your scars and may suggest combining PN with other treatments.
Usually 3 PN injection sessions are recommended, 3–4 weeks apart, to achieve desirable results. However, each patient is unique, and a consultation with one of our doctors is needed before treatment to confirm your plan.
Topical anaesthesia is applied first to minimise discomfort, and the PN injectable is then administered into your skin; allow around 45 minutes in total, including numbing time. Downtime is minimal: any swelling or redness at the injection sites is usually mild and passes, so most people return to their daily activities after treatment.
Yes. A multi-layer approach often yields better results. You can discuss with our doctors which treatment options suit your needs, and they will recommend an appropriate combination of PN and other treatments for your skin.
No. PN and PDRN are both DNA-derived, but they are different products. A PN injection uses polynucleotides from Italian trout DNA, purified with patented Highly Purified Technology (HPT), and is also used around the eyes. Our PDRN injectable uses salmon DNA fragments; its page compares the two in more detail.
Because PN comes from trout DNA, let your doctor know about any fish allergy. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an active skin infection where PN would be injected, treatment may be postponed. Tell your doctor about your medicines and previous injections too, especially if the eye area is being treated.
