1. Sculptra

The main ingredient of SCULPTRA is a biocompatible and biodegradable synthetic facial injectable material known as poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA).

Sculptra® works by stimulating fibroblasts to create new collagen fibres which occur gradually and subtly. It essentially rebuilds the underlying infrastructure of the face through the generation of new collagen that helps reduce shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds that appear with aging.

Sculptra helps provide structure for collagen saturation in the following areas:

• Sunken Temples
• Tear troughs
• Sunken and hollow cheeks
• Nasolabial folds
• Marionette lines

What to expect from treatment?

It takes between 30-45 minutes depending on the area being treated. A topical numbing cream will be applied to minimise discomfort before the injection process begins.

What do I need to take note of after the treatment?

Sculptra® treatments involve minimal downtime. Avoid sun exposure, UV lamps, and other facial procedures such as laser treatments or chemical peeling until any swelling or redness has completely resolved.

Massage the treated areas with a firm circular motion 3 times daily, for 5 minutes and continue this for the next 5 days.

Are there any side effects?

As with any injectable treatment, mild to moderate swelling, redness and bruising at the injection site can occur immediately after treatment. These side effects generally resolve within 2 to 6 days.

How many sessions are required?

Depending on the area treated, at least 2 – 3 sessions, 4 – 6 weeks apart. Our doctors will tailor the sessions to best suit your skin and your desired outcome.

2. Deusaderm

Deusaderm is a biocompatible and biodegradable injectable collagen gel purified through Sunmax Biotech’s patented purification platform. The natural property of Deusaderm injectables enables the skin to restore lost collagen in the dermis and improve appearance.

It can be used to treat areas with thin and delicate skin such as the under eyes, facial lines, and wrinkles.

Are there any side effects?

3. Ellansé

Ellansé is a dermal filler containing Poly-Caprolactone (PCL) microspheres that stimulates the production of collagen, improving the skin’s collagen levels to improve volume loss and laxity.

Upon injection, Ellansé acts to immediately fill the treated area. Over the course of a few months, the PCL microspheres in Ellanse stimulate the body’s natural collagen production to improve the overall appearance of the skin.
