Mild, stable symptoms
Coughs, colds, flu and diarrhoea, when your history and what the doctor can see on video give enough information for a safe plan.
Telemedicine · Singapore
For mild illnesses, follow-ups of long-term conditions and screening results, a doctor may be able to assess you by video. If you need to be examined in person, the doctor will tell you.
A doctor's consultation by video, for when a hands-on examination isn't needed.
Telemedicine is a consultation with a doctor by secure video, for concerns that can be assessed safely without a hands-on examination. The doctor reviews your symptoms, history and medicines, and anything that can be seen on camera, then explains whether remote care is enough or whether you should be seen in person.
At Fusion Medical, teleconsultations cover mild infections such as coughs, colds, flu and diarrhoea, advice about vaccinations, follow-up of chronic conditions and reviews after a health screening. If medicine is prescribed, you can collect it or have it delivered.
When video fits
Video suits questions that can be answered without touch: your history, what the doctor can see and your own readings. It is less suitable when the doctor needs your vital signs, a hands-on examination, a swab, a blood test, imaging or urgent treatment.

Mild, stable symptoms
Coughs, colds, flu and diarrhoea, when your history and what the doctor can see on video give enough information for a safe plan.

Chronic condition follow-ups
Reviews of long-term conditions, including questions about your medicines and your home readings, for example:

Health screening results
Go through your health screening results with a doctor, or review your recovery and how a treatment is working.

Vaccination advice
Talk through which vaccinations you may need. The injection itself is given at the clinic.
In person instead
Some concerns need hands-on care. The doctor may stop a video consultation when a face-to-face assessment would be more appropriate, and advise a clinic visit or a home visit, subject to the availability of our doctors.
Chest pain, severe breathlessness or collapse? Call 995.
Chest pain, severe breathlessness, collapse, stroke signs, major injury or uncontrolled bleeding: call 995 or go to an Emergency Department.
When the doctor needs your vital signs, to examine you, or a swab or procedure, you'll be asked to come to the clinic.
Worsening symptoms, a risk of dehydration, a persistent high fever or significant pain need prompt, same-day triage: contact the clinic.
Blood tests, swabs, imaging and vaccinations are done at the clinic, not by video.

Your video consultation, step by step
Book a video consultation with our team and tell us briefly what it is about.
Find a quiet, private, well-lit space, test your camera and microphone, and keep your ID, medicines, allergy details, readings and reports nearby.
The doctor confirms your identity and location, goes through your symptoms, history and medicines, and looks at anything visible on camera.
You receive advice, treatment, follow-up or an in-person plan. If medicine is prescribed, collect it or have it delivered.
Safety & expectations
Remote care is complete only when you know the next step.
Follow the doctor's treatment and safety-net advice after the call. Seek help sooner if your symptoms get worse, and call 995 in an emergency.
A doctor can assess mild, stable symptoms such as coughs, colds, flu and diarrhoea, give advice about vaccinations, follow up long-term conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, gout, eczema and asthma, and go through your health screening results. Telemedicine is suitable when your history and what can be seen on video give enough information for a safe plan.
Telemedicine is not suitable for emergencies, or when the doctor needs your vital signs, a hands-on examination, a swab, a blood test, imaging or a procedure. The doctor may stop the video consultation if a face-to-face assessment is more appropriate, and advise a clinic visit or, subject to availability, a home visit.
Medicine is prescribed only when the doctor has enough information and considers it appropriate and safe. If medicine is prescribed, you can collect it yourself or choose delivery.
A medical certificate is not automatic. The doctor issues one only after a clinical assessment, when it is medically justified. The same applies to prescriptions.
Join from a quiet, private, well-lit space and test your camera, microphone and connection. Keep your identification, medicines, allergy details, recent readings and reports nearby, and note when your symptoms started and what you have tried. Know your current location in case urgent care is needed, and don't join while driving.
CHAS, Merdeka Generation and Pioneer Generation cards can be used for teleconsultations at Fusion Medical. Employer or insurance cover depends on your plan, so check with your employer or insurance company before your consultation. Private patients can pay by PayLah!, PayNow or bank transfer.
Follow the safety-net advice the doctor gives you, and seek in-person care sooner if warning signs appear or your symptoms get worse quickly. For chest pain, severe breathlessness or collapse, call 995 or go to an Emergency Department.
If the doctor decides a face-to-face consultation is more appropriate, you can visit our clinic at Wheelock Place or ask for a home visit, subject to the availability of our doctors. Extra fees apply for home visits.
